Healthy Alternatives to Protein Powder shakes.?

I have to quit taking protein powder supplements again, Last time I did this, I had withdrawl and lose everything I gained from it. So is there way to counter this, How do I keep my weight from the shakes I have already gained. Is there any other Healthy supplements that don't harm the liver, kidneys, etc. This is all for weight gain, What Should I take right after my workout of weight lifting, and before bed. Please help! The highest points rewarded with the best info.
